Allentown,PA - Feinberg Real Estate Advisors, LLC represented the Lehigh Valley AcademyRegional Charter School (LVA) in its purchase of 2040 Avenue C, a three-story,210,000 square foot property in the City of Bethlehem, Lehigh County,Pennsylvania. The property, which was built in 1976 for the Fuller Coheadquarters and expanded in 1996 when Fuller Co become part of the FLSmidthgroup of companies, will be redeveloped for the Lehigh Valley Academy, an IBWorld School, and will be ready for occupancy for the opening of the 2023-2024school year.
CindyMcDonnell Feinberg, CCIM of Feinberg Real Estate Advisors, LLC represented LVAin the acquisition of the property. The sellers, FLSMIDTH, INC and FULLERCOMPANY were represented by JLL. The property was purchased for$15,500,000.
“Thesize and location of the property made it a perfect choice for LVA’s new Kthrough 12 campus,” said LVA Chief Executive Officer Susan Mauser. “Thelocation is less than one mile from our current location and remains veryconvenient for our students, their families and our staff.”
“Whenthe property became available our architect, ALLOY5 Architecture, did a testfit to determine if our three schools, K-5, 6-8 and 9-12, would fit into thetwo three-story buildings,” added Mauser. “We determined that they would fitperfectly so we spent the past nine months preparing the designs, confirmingschool configurations and obtaining board approval for our new location.”

In 1976, theFuller Co built its 150,000 square foot headquarters on Avenue C, moving thebusiness from Catasauqua to the City of Bethlehem. In 1990 the Fuller Cobecame part of the FLSmidth group of companies. In 1996 the 60,000 square footAnnex Building was constructed to accommodate expanding employee population inthe Lehigh Valley.
